TERMS & CONDITIONS


These terms and conditions apply when purchasing or downloading a product by Rescue Themes and when using this site:

1. General Terms

Our products are developed with the intention of providing a foundation for or assist in the develop of your project or client work. It’s expected that you already have sufficient expertise to use the item you’ve purchased or downloaded.

For example, if you’ve purchased or downloaded a WordPress theme, you should already be familiar with the basic functionality of WordPress.

With this in mind, your use of any information, material, or items purchased that are developed by Rescue Themes is entirely at your own risk for which Rescue Themes won’t be liable. You’ll be responsible to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.

In short:  You should already have some knowledge of website stuff. We can’t be held responsible for self-inflicted mayhem or for your client’s projects.


2. Disclaimer

Rescue Themes retains the right to change the terms and conditions and licensing of this site and our products at any time.

In short:  A day may come where we need to adjust our terms and conditions so just a head’s up.

3. License

All digital goods by Rescue Themes are released 100% GPL under the GNU Public License version 2.0.

Our license is in full compliance with WordPress but our products are not compatible with the wordpress.com blogging community. They are developed for individual installations of the WordPress platform.

In short:  This license is awesome. It lets you use your downloads on however many self hosted WordPress sites you’d like. Just don’t resell or redistribute them.

4. Guarantee

All downloadable content and services provided are “AS IS” without any warranties of any kind (express or implied). We do not guarantee that our digital products will work in all browsers or hosting environments, nor do we guarantee that our products will be functional with all versions of WordPress. We do not guarantee compatibility with any additional third party plugins, scripts, or applications that have not been specifically listed as being compatible with the product.

In short:  We mainly just want to stress that there are compatibility scenarios that may be out of scope for us.
5. Membership

As a free member of this website, you will receive access to download free WordPress related products by Rescue Themes. You are responsible for your account username and password and you should make a reasonable effort to keep your information confidential.

If you have purchased a premium theme by Rescue Themes on the Envato Marketplace, you will receive access to basic theme support through our Envato Marketplace contact form.

With the purchase of Priority Support, you will gain access to the priority support forum and all the features included with that package.

In short:  Being a member grants you some cool stuff so be mindful of your account’s security. There are also some perks of being a member and for upgrading support.

6. Support

Basic support is included with each premium theme purchase. Basic support is defined as responding to general premium theme setup questions.

Basic support will not grant access to the priority support forum. A purchase of the Priority Support Package is required in order to gain access to the priority support forum.

Priority Support is defined as receiving advanced technical support, faster support responses, and hands on support through site logins if necessary. Priority Support does not include customization.

Support for free products are only provided with a Priority Support subscription.

We will not provide support that requires us to view websites with questionable content including, but is not limited to, pornography, prostitution, racist content, possible scams, etc. We reserve the right to refuse support if the member is abusive or in violation of our terms.

Basic Support is offered Monday through Friday, 9AM to 6PM U.S. Central Standard Time (UTC/GMT-6).

Priority Support is offered Monday through Sunday, 9AM to 6PM U.S. Central Standard Time (UTC/GMT-6).

In short:  There are two levels of support; Basic and Priority. Oh, and if you need help with a free products, upgrade to Priority Support. More information about support can be located here: http://rescuethemes.com/support
